               How To Clean Makeup Brushes

Hey Guys! So I just wanted to share with you my way of cleaning makeup brushes. It's so simple and cheap to do. It also will leave your brushes feeling nice, clean, and smooth like the day you bought them!!

All you need is:
  • Dirty brushes
  • Mild dishwashing soap or baby shampoo
  • Small glass cup or bowl
  • Water

                                                         Brushes that need a cleaning.

STEP ONE: Start out by putting a tiny bit of lukewarm water into your small cup or bowl and add a drop or two of dishwashing soap or baby shampoo. ( **NOTE: Remember please be careful not to go near the brush head. It will loosen the bristles and they will eventually start to fall out.)

STEP TWO: Carefully dip brushes down into the water and move them around in a circular motion. You should start to see the water start to turn a different color. That is just the makeup coming off your brush.

You can also take the brush out of the cup and move it against the palm of  your hand. This will help remove excess makeup.

STEP THREE: Run the brush under warm water and then remove from water when the water runs clear. Next squeeze out excess water and pat dry with a washcloth.

***NOTE: Let the brushes run dry with the bristles hanging off the edge of a table or counter. If you let the brushes dry on a towel, your brushes can become mildewed.

STEP FOUR: Let brushes dry for a couple hours. After that, you can now enjoy some nice clean brushes!!

THANKS FOR VIEWING! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Cat Eyes

How to create the Cat Eye makeup look!

For this look I used Revlon "Color Stay" liquid eyeliner. You can purchase this at any local drugstore.
I LOVE this eyeliner. It has such a nice point to it and it's very easy to apply to your eyes. It also comes on nice and black.

Here are the steps to accomplish this look:

  • Start by dragging the liner gently across your lash line.
  • Drag the line past the outer corner of your eye. (Make sure you have a nice point in the corner)
  • Next, begin at the outer corner and start your way back toward your eye. Make sure you make a thin line as you get to your inner lash line. Then, just follow the natural shape of your eye.

This is how it came out for me!
